Brighton Web has been building websites and online systems for more than twenty-five years. During that time we have worked through every major phase of the web’s evolution, from hand-coded HTML and Macromedia Dreamweaver to content management systems, e-commerce platforms and modern WordPress development. Along the way we have built websites for businesses, charities, artists, publishers, educational organisations and community groups, always with an emphasis on making technology accessible and useful rather than simply fashionable.
Our approach has always been pragmatic. We are less interested in chasing the latest buzzwords than in helping clients organise and communicate their knowledge effectively. Whether building a WooCommerce catalogue containing thousands of products, an artist’s archive spanning decades of work, or a small business website designed to generate enquiries, our focus remains the same: creating systems that are easy to manage, easy to find and easy to use. The emergence of AI represents the latest stage in that journey. Rather than replacing the principles of good web design, it reinforces them. The better a site’s information is organised, the more effectively both people and AI systems can understand and use it.
